HUNTING IN ALBERTA
Alberta is home to nine big game species, offering some of the best hunting in the world. You will find very healthy populations of black bears, including many colour phase bears. We access remote locations where the bears grow big and old, sometimes never seeing humans before. Bear hunts occur over baited sites which allows for a high success rate, along with proper management aiming for the harvest of mature boars. There is also a large population of wolves. In managing the bear and wolf populations we help the deer populations to thrive.
Alberta is known for its whitetail deer. We have an opportunity to hunt archery only in one of Alberta's renowned areas - Edmonton Bow zone. We also offer a rifle/archery deer hunt in Northern Alberta, where you will find mature big bush bucks in remote areas. In both deer areas you have the chance at big mature whitetail deer. Hunters who can sit all day in a stand prepared to shoot at any moment can often do very well. Sometimes with deer you only have a few seconds to make that decision, being ready will aid in the success of your hunt.
