Northern Alberta is known for its large population of wolves. It is our jobs as the hunter to keep the predator in check to allow the moose, deer and elk populations to thrive. This hunt takes place over the winter on baits in heated blinds. Hunting wolves requires a lot of patience, but it is totally worth the reward when it pays off. There is also a dense population of coyotes, offering hunters the opportunity to double up on both wolf and coyote during the hunt.
